Does this have preservatives?
No. Well Seasoned products are made without artificial preservatives.
That’s also what sets them apart from most store-bought sauces. Instead of relying on additives or flavour enhancers, we use slow infusion, high-quality oils, natural acidity, and spices that do the work on their own. The result is flavour that feels real, layered, and clean — something that enhances your food rather than overpowering it.
Can kids eat this?
Yes — many of our products work beautifully for kids when used mindfully.
Options like our Cinnamon Bun Butter, Pesto Butter, Pista & Dark Chocolate Butter, and even the Spicy Arrabiata Butter are great starting points. Despite the name, the arrabiata butter isn’t aggressively spicy and works well in smaller quantities. As always, we recommend starting light and adjusting based on what works best in your home.
How should I store these, and how long do they last?
Think of Well Seasoned as something you treat like a kitchen essential, not a fragile condiment.
Our jams and butters are happiest in the refrigerator. The oils can comfortably stay outside for up to two months, but once opened, we recommend refrigerating them as well. When stored properly and used with a clean, dry spoon, the butters and oils last up to three months, and the jams up to two months — without compromising flavour or quality.
Which one should I start with?
Start with what already feels familiar to how you eat.
If you love simple comfort food, the Spicy Arrabiata Butter is a great first pick. If bold, punchy flavours excite you, the Korean Chili Oil won’t disappoint. And if you enjoy experimenting and layering flavours in unexpected ways, the Tangy Tomato Jam is where you’ll have the most fun.
